Marezi's story began inside crowded African service centres.

Long lines, handwritten tickets, confused visitors, and overworked staff revealed something important: queues were not the problem. They were a symptom of deeper issues in system design, information flow, and service coordination.

The founding team recognized that improving the experience would require more than digitizing ticketing. It would require building systems that could adapt to changing demand, new regulations, new service channels, and unexpected disruptions, without breaking under pressure.

This thinking drew inspiration from one of Africa’s most powerful natural systems: the Great Migration across the Mara ecosystem.
